Most people my age would never even consider watching Hannah Montana. The TV show being on the Disney channel causes it to only receive a much younger audience. But anyone who tunes in will realize it is the best family type sitcom since Boy Meets World. Say what you want about Miley Cyrus, but she tops the list of best female actresses in the world. Unfortunately, the absolute gold of the TV show did not translate fully on the big screen. Miley did not incorporate her catch phrases or corky personality nearly enough in the movie. The cowboy boyfriend also brought it down a notch, and throughout we were all hoping Jake Ryan would appear from with a parachute. Hannah Montana fans should see the movie anyway, even though they will be a little disappointed.
