1st. Texans 12-4
A surprise here to many, but the Texans will finally break out after being on the brink for the past two seasons. With a very easy start to the schedule, they should be able to come out of the gates at 7-1 through the half. They will have to split against the Colts and Titans, who have had their number forever to get to 12 wins. With Andre Johnson and young star Slaton, their offense will be off the charts. Matt Schaub will stay healthy all year to lead them to their first division title.
2nd. Colts 11-5
As always, Manning and the boys will be back amongst the elite. Peyton will put up huge numbers this year because he going to have to in order to win this many games. If Addai doen't pan out, than they will need to count on rookie Donald Brown to step up to the plate. Reggie Wayne will have a pro bowl year, but the key to the season could the play of Anthony Gonzalez.
3rd. Titans 8-8
The Titans played way over their heads last year to reach that many wins. Their defense was the best in the league, but after losing Haynesworth, they will drop a few notches on that side of the ball. Kerry Collins isn't getting any younger and I'm guessing there will be fans rooting for Vince Young to replace him 8 games in.
4th. Jaguars 5-11
This is easily the best 5-11 team there has been in a long time. But with the toughest division in the AFC, they will have 6 hard games that they will win only one of. The defense is mediocre and the running game is solid with Jones-Drew, but the key to winning more than 5 games is Daivd Garrard. He was better than he got credit for last year, and he will improve, but are a year or two away from prominence.
