NFL Predictions: NFC North

1st. Bears 11-5

With Jay Cutler in town, the Bears finally get the talented quarterback they've been looking for for years. And with him, they will take the division. Their defense will bounce back from a terrible performance last year. Matt Forte comes into his second year and should take care of the running game. The only flaw is the lack of a number one receiver, which Cutler may be able to hide.

2nd. Packers 10-6

After a 6-10 year, Green Bay will reverse that record and reach 10 wins. Rodgers has a year of experience under him and has great targets of Jennings and Driver to look for. Ryan Grant needs to stay healthy and be the consistent back he was in '07. Like the Bears, their defense under-performed last season and will show what they're capable of this time around. They will get the best of Favre in both meetings.

3rd. Vikings 8-8

Their season took a major hit when they foolishly signed Brett Favre over the summer. A washed up, 40 year old quarterback is not answer to the Vikings' woes at the position. They would have been better off with Rosenfels running the show. Once the mistakes by Favre start piling up, the locker room will split and the season will fall apart. Peterson and the defense are good enough to get 8 wins.

4th. Lions 4-12

On the bright side, this will be four more wins than last year, which will be a good start. In order to get that many, Culpepper will need to be the starter for most of the season. Stafford is not ready to lead this poor team to any wins. The defense as always will be terrible, but if Daunte can launch it up to Calvin Johnson 100 times a game, they could manage 4 wins.
